The Spanish American Committee provides opportunities through four core programs: the Workforce Development Program, the Families First Program, the Mi Casa Housing Counseling Program, and the Little Footsteps Bilingual Child Enrichment Center. Through these core programs, our clients have access to a wide range of wraparound services including family support, childcare, financial literacy education, housing counseling, job training and placement services, English classes, and a GED programming.
This effective, multi-service model ensures that all our clients’ needs are met in one place, making the socioeconomic success and self-sufficiency they seek more accessible than ever. In order to best serve our clients and work toward our agency’s objective of helping to stabilize and strengthen the family unit and create conditions and resources within the family leading to social and economic wellbeing, the SAC establishes meaningful partnerships and community connections. The Spanish American Committee currently provides over 6,000 services to approximately 1,500 new clients each year.
